How much does the Oshot cost?
The O shot procedure costs $1597. This includes the Intensity device that is part of Dr. Roy’s clinical protocol.
A credit card is required to reserve your appointment. A consultation charge of $150 is charged is a consultation is necessary and credited toward purchases made within 60 days.
If you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment, it must be done prior to 48 hours of your scheduled appointment. If you provide less than 48 hours notice or if you do not show up for your appointment, a $100 missed appointment fee is charged to the card on file.
What is Dr. Roy’s protocol for the OShot?
After the O-Shot procedure, you are asked to use the Intensity device to stimulate and strengthen the pelvic floor muscles. Please use the device daily for a minimum of 10 minutes for 2 weeks. The more you use the device the better. You may continue daily or weekly use indefinitely for continued benefit.
Does the O-Shot treat urinary incontinence?
Many women report significant improvement and often resolution of stress and urge incontinence after the O-Shot(TM). There are also many reports of total resolution of the problem. Strengthening the pelvic floor musculature in conjunction with PRP can significantly impact urinary incontinence.
Did Dr. Roy invent the O-Shot procedure?
Dr. Runels was the first physician to introduce this procedure in 2010. Dr. Roy is trained by Dr. Runels and continues to work closely with him to improve the process and outcomes. In addition to Dr. Runels, Dr. Roy is the only physician authorized to train other physicians to do O-Shot, Priapus Shot and the Vampire procedures.
Does Dr. Roy train other practitioners or physicians?
Dr. Roy provides training to other practitioners (1 day training) at her office or a custom training at the physicians clinic There is a maximum of 4 licensed providers at each training session. Dr. Roy is also happy to provide private 1-1 training. A training manual is provided upon payment of the course. You will then be added to a group list of “certified physicians” with whom Dr. Roy will organize a webinar periodically to share ideas and successful protocols. Dr. Roy feels very strongly that the effectiveness and art of utilizing PRP is still yet in its infancy. We are getting excellent results that will get better and better as we all share ideas. Our patients will be referring their friends and family when they get great results. It benefits everyone when physicians share knowledge, experience and clinical pearls.
Dr. Roy feels it is important for her to take the learning curve out of the equation. She will share with you the current “best practice” and “best system” available to her knowledge. She is in touch with the industry and frequently briefed on new products and technology. She is in a Stem Cell Fellowship with both the A4M and Global Stem Cell Group. Can I have a consultation and the Oshot procedure at the same time?
You may have services on the same day as a consultation as long as you make your desire for service known at the time of scheduling.

What should I expect during my appointment?
Dr. Roy will quickly review your medical history. You will have an opportunity to ask questions should you have any. A topical numbing cream is applied to the injection area. Your blood is then drawn and prepared. Once your PRP is ready, Dr. Roy will inject into two small areas of the vagina. The entire process takes approximately 30 minutes.
Does the Oshot hurt?
Most women are quite comfortable during the procedure. The discomfort is often described as a mild pinch. The numbing feeling may last 30-60 minutes after the procedure.
Are there any side effects or downtime with the OShot?
There are typically no side effects or downtime. There may be a few drops of blood from the injection site. You can return to work, exercise and any other activity the same day (including sexual activity).
Do I have to come back to see the doctor after the O-shot procedure?
Dr. Roy would like to have a very brief phone conversation or office visit (15 minutes) at 8 weeks after your procedure. She would like to know the benefits that you may have experienced from having the O-Shot. A plan for further care will be considered at that time.
Will I need a 2nd O-shot?
Some women choose to have a 2nd O-shot for various reasons. You may have a 2nd O-shot after 8 weeks should you desire. The majority of women have improved function after one O-shot, but they will sometimes decide to do another for additional benefit. There is usually additional benefit with each O-shot.
How many O-shots may I have?
There is no limit to the number of O-shots a woman can have safely. Evaluation by a physician skilled in the use of PRP is necessary to determine potential risk and benefit.
If I need a 2nd O-Shot, is there a discount?
There is a 10% discounts for subsequent O-shots. Often there are physician training sessions at Doctor Studio. If you would like to be a patient during a physician “training” then you will enjoy a 30% discount.
Is the procedure FDA approved?
PRP Procedures are not approved or disapproved by FDA because PRP is not a drug. The FDA has approved the PRP harvesting kits that I use. They have been deemed safe. PRP has always been shown to be safe and is being shown in many medical specialties to be effective at regeneration, healing and rejuvenation.
Are there any studies or research on the Oshot?

Can I have the procedure done if I am pregnant?
NO – we do not do any procedures on woman who are pregnant or lactating.
IF you are not sure – a pregnancy test will need to be done prior.
You will be asked to sign a document to verify that you are not pregnant or lactating at time of the procedure.
Can I have the procedure if I am menstruating?
Dr. Roy will do the procedure during menstruation. Anytime of the month in a woman’s cycle is acceptable.
Is the Oshot guaranteed?
This is an elective procedure and there are no guarantees that you will achieve the desired results. There are no guarantees or refunds. Dr. Roy will evaluate your concerns and goals with integrity to make sure you are an appropriate candidate before spending your money and time.
